Here we are, for many is the G.O.A.T.
The legendary MPC 3000 was introduced in 1994 as the improved version of the previous MPC 60, and was the last MPC signed by Roger Linn. This excellent 16-bit 44.1 kHz sampler and sequencer, placed as the brain of the studio, is still used to produce Hip Hop, R'n'B, House music and even Techno, after 25 years!

The secret weapon is its swing logarithm and the sequencer, that makes it different from any other model, making the loops so groovy and natural, with the help of the correlation among pads on velocity functions.
Both the analog low-pass filter and built-in delay are simply superb! The thing that impressed me so much was the taste and the sound balancing of the summing from the main output, much better than all the other MPC, except for the 60 which is similar.

Has been used by J-Dilla, Puff Daddy, BT, The Crystal Method, Jean-Michel Jarre, Dr. Dre, Aphex Twin, DJ Quick, Battlecat, Jermaine Dupri and The Chemical Brothers.

When I was young I had the dream to own one, after 15 years I realized it, and it's satisfying as hell!

Chill with our trial, audio is not the best, but it comes direct from the unit so you can get an idea at least, and dream to pick one :)
